The one big event I have waited and watched every year since I was a young boy is The Oscars. This year, I am particularly excited since one of my favorite actors, Leonardo DiCaprio, should win Best Actor for his excellent portrayal of Hugh Glass in The Revenant.

This infographic, from Forbes.com, shows Best Actor winners from the years 2001-2016 by lifetime domestic gross of all of the movies that actor has been in versus the age of the actor at the time of their Oscar win. It also shows, using color around the actor’s facial image, if this is their first Best Actor and if they have won Multiple Best Actor Oscars (e.g., Sean Penn, Daniel Day-Lewis).
