We all love cars, and we all love Top Trumps.

So this month, here at Car Leasing Made Simple, we decided to combine these interests into ‘Police Car Top Trumps’. A fun infographic comparing some of the fastest, coolest and just plain craziest police cars on the planet.

After reading this I’m sure many of you will see how you could join the Dubai Police. Some of their, we assume more senior officers, get to drive some of the most impressive police cars on the planet. This includes the Aston Martin One-77, so called because only seventy-seven were ever made. This Aston Martin has a retail cost over £1million and a top speed of over 200mph, putting most ‘company’ cars to shame. It’s joined on the Dubai police force by Bugatti Veyron, the Lamborghini Aventador and a Ferrari FF. With cars like that we have to start wondering how many petty criminals in Dubai are committing crimes just on the off-chance they could get picked up in one of these supercars.

Not to be totally outdone by its flashy neighbor, Abu Dhabi have added their own supercar to their crime-fighting fleet: the Lykan Hypersport. The Lykan is often called the Middle East’s first supercar and is famous for appearing Furious 7 and for having some pretty grandiose accessories such as diamonds in the headlights.

Mainland Europe is represented by three cars that are not only awesome, they reflect the countries that own them. The Dutch police have been given the Spyker C8 Spyder, an unusual looking car with quirky charm. The German police force is represented by the powerful Brabus Rocket; a car perfectly suited for the country’s autobahns. Then we have the stylish Italians, whose feet includes the Lamborghini LP560-4.

The British are represented by two cars, but unfortunately one has been disqualified. This is the Ariel Atom. The reason we’ve categorized this as a disqualified top trump is that sadly it is not used as a police vehicle. Instead it is used as a speed awareness prop by the Avon and Somerset Constabulary. Quite how seeing the Ariel speed along will make people want to drive slower is not something we can understand, but fair play to the police force for getting hold of one!
