I am currently finishing my MOOC course, Introduction to Infographics and Data Visualization, taught by the Father of Infographics, Alberto Cairo. One of my classmates posted the link to this infographic YouTube video on the Wealth Inequality in America. Since it was posted in November (November 20th, 2012), I am unsure if they did it as part of one of the class assignments or as part of their professional work or just showing us an interesting infographic.
This infographics shows us the distribution of wealth in America, highlighting both the inequality and the difference between our perception of inequality and the actual numbers. The reality is often not what we think it is.
