Living for decades in Arizona has really thinned my blood. If it gets to be 60 degrees, I am freezing.
I was born in Detroit and lived through some cold winters in the 1960s and 1970s, however, I never saw anything like we have seen this past week.
Here is a great infographic from The Chicago Tribune about their record cold snap. It is hard to believe it is colder in Chicago than Alaska, Greenland and Russia.
Bundle up warmly, have a cup of hot chocolate, and stay safe you folks back East.
